Wow thanks for explaining this so well!! I am fighting stage 4 bc with bone mets and am on 2,000 mg of curcumin. I have read a lot of what is helpful but you have a gift of explaining the way it works so well. Thank you! I am kind of wanting to try the “milk” recipe. I am strict keto and my Gki has remained around 1 for over a month now, fighting cancer is tough! Thankful for great resources though, now I am adding your reads to my list!!

I grow tumeric in my garden. I usually just chop it fine and add it to what I am cooking with fresh ground pepper.

Sounds beautiful! I’ve tried to grow it in France without success.

Awesome article!

I would like a recommendation on highest quality turmerics to purchase. My husband mixes organic turmeric root with a fresh squeezed lemon, olive oil, and pepper in a shot glass every morning. I would prefer a pill. Thank you in advance.

Medicinal chemistry researchers must develop synthetically modified Curcumin or even Curcumin analogs that will be readily absorbed, but retain its biological properties - eminently possible. That should make Curcumin chemistry an even more potent weapon against cancer.

Take a look at the references and latest research on this. The last two references on this article!

I am currently battling metastatic thyroid in early stages. I am on a Fenbenzanole and Curcuramin regiment without my doctors approval or knowledge. I have kidney stones and recently read that curcuramin should not be used if you get kidney stones. Is this correct or is there anything else I can do?

It does have oxalates yes. You can take a supplement or eat foods in such a way that you minimise the impact of oxalates but it needs to be individually assessed. There are many supplements available that can help you with cancer and perhaps turmeric is the wrong one for you. Omega 3, Vitamin A and vitamin D are supper important for thyroid health!

Thank you. I currently have been taking cucuramin, fenbenzanole, vit D, vit E, milk thistle, and CBD. My thyroidectomy left quite a bit of tissue behind and it spread since removed. The fenbenzanole protocol took care of the new spread but the iodine radiation uptake clearly shows hot thyroid bed. I have plenty of symptoms that it wasn't fully removed. My last 2 kidney stones were too big to pass so surgery was the only answer. I'm tired of that but I'll miss the cucuramin in my regiment. The anti inflammation properties really helped my CRPS

My daughter has a germline tp53 mutation. Do you think turmeric still has a positive impact in this setting?

You mentioned Aspergillus Niger as carcinogenic yet it is in my Betaine HCi supplement I take for IBS/ SIBO gut issues. I have breast cancer (being treated) and I am taking curcumin , should I stop taking that supplement with Aspergillus Niger?? Thanks for all your information.
